Elyse makes pizza!

It has been so relaxing staying inside these last couple of days. We decided to do something different and make pizzas today for lunch. Elyse and I wore our matching aprons that Aunt Amanda got us for Christmas. Daddy was the photographer and we had a ball watching her put the sauce on (with an occasional lick of the spoon) and sprinkle cheese on (with an occassional bite of that too). We definitely need to do this more often. It was adorable and she even enjoyed eating them after they cooked!

Fun in the snow

We bundled Elyse up today and took her out to play in the snow. She was completely intrigued by it! She was walking around in circles just kicking it with her feet. She would fall every now and then and then enjoy playing with the snow in her hands. She really didn't know what to think when Ryan pulled us in the sled. It was too cute. She didn't really want to come in and wanted to eat the snow off her shoe once she got inside! It was so much fun. It topped off a wonderful four day weekend!

First Gymboree class

Gymboree has come to Danville! There is one in Lexington so this isn't necessarily closer for us in location but it is closer to Amanda and Blake. So we tried it out Saturday and Elyse and Blake loved it! They played instruments, chased bubbles, and sang and danced. They were absolutely adorable. It's a little hard to think about paying for a class for our 1 1/2 year olds, but Amanda and I thought we could at least justify doing it during some winter months. And our husbands have said they are actually going to take them to a class every now and then. Now that will be the class where we will want pictures!
